ReforgeDigital is one person.
My name is Chandler Newcombe. I build websites and web software for businesses in Suffolk. There is no team, no account manager and no call centre — when you email, I am the one who reads it and I am the one who writes the code.
What I actually do
I write websites by hand. No page builders, no purchased themes, no stack of plugins holding things together. That is a deliberate choice rather than a preference: every plugin is something that can update itself at three in the morning and take your site down, and every builder is a layer of code your visitors have to download before they see a word of your content.
The work ranges from a five-page site for a trade business through to a CMS a team edits daily, an online shop, or a full web application with logins, billing and permissions. The client portal on this site is one I built from scratch — messaging with file and voice attachments, invoicing, project tracking, approvals and a full audit trail.
How I work
A fixed price, agreed in writing before anything starts. It does not move unless you ask for something outside what we agreed, and then you approve the change first. I would rather turn down a project than start one where neither of us is clear what it costs.
From day one you get a login to your own client area, so you can see progress, what I need from you, your invoices and every message in one place. No wondering what is happening between updates.
When it is finished, the code and the data are yours. If you want to take a backup and go elsewhere, that is fine and I will not make it difficult. I have no interest in holding anyone's website hostage.
Where I work
I am based in Suffolk and most of my clients are here — Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Woodbridge, Sudbury, Felixstowe and the villages between. Being local means I can sit down with you if that is easier than a phone call.
I take work from outside the county too. The portal means distance rarely matters for the day-to-day.
Want to talk it through?
Tell me what your business does and what is not working. I will tell you what it needs, even if that is less than you came for.
