A small, sharp body of hand-coded work for real businesses — no templates, no page builders.
The Project LEA Property Solutions is an Ipswich HMO and house-share specialist that has been running since 2004. They needed a website that worked for two very different audiences: tenants looking for a room and landlords looking for a management company they could trust. The site also had to be easy for the team to keep up to date without paying a developer every time a room came free.
The Approach I built the site from scratch with no templates, working closely with Lucy and her team on how it should look and feel. Behind it sits a custom content management system and a property database I designed myself, so every page, property, vacancy, team member and blog post can be edited by the LEA team from their own admin portal. The front end is kept lightweight and fast, with enquiries split into separate tenant and landlord routes so each lead lands with the right person straight away.
A focused launch platform for an upcoming local food marketplace. The objective was purely strategic: validate market interest and capture vendor leads before the app's official deployment.
Simplicity was the key feature. We utilised static asset rendering to ensure the site loads instantly on 3G connections, reducing bounce rates and maximizing lead capture efficiency.
A bespoke fashion identity built to bypass the limitations of standard templates. The goal was to create a raw, industrial aesthetic without the performance bloat of heavy apps.
By stripping away unnecessary scripts and writing custom Liquid code, the site achieves high speed scores while delivering a unique user experience.
